How to choose

Read the model row, not the family
Most families on this page also serve mini or standard carriers. What decides the fit is the carrier weight range of the individual model row in the table, so pick the row that brackets your machine rather than ordering by family name alone.

Split the work between a digging and a grading bucket
A midi carrier has enough hydraulic power to make both worth having. A narrow digging bucket does trenches, a wide grading bucket cleans and levels. Crews that keep both on the yard change tool instead of forcing one profile through work it was not drawn for.

Decide whether tilt is worth the hydraulics
A hydraulic tilting bucket shapes slopes and verges from one machine position and saves repositioning on every pass. It needs a spare hydraulic circuit and adds mass at the coupler, so it pays on shaping work and less on straight trenching.

Check the coupler system before the width
Tell us the system on the machine, for example S40, S45, MS03, CW05 or a pin on fit with its dimensions. We build the bracket to that system. Getting this wrong is the one mistake that makes an otherwise correct bucket unusable on delivery.

Match capacity to what the machine can lift at reach
A larger bucket only helps while the carrier stays stable with it full. Take the density of the material into account, wet clay and crushed stone load a bucket far harder than topsoil, and size the capacity to lifting at full reach rather than to the machine class.

- Which carriers count as midi here?
- Machines from 6 to 12 tonnes. A family shows up on this page when at least one model row in its table is rated for a carrier inside that band.
- Why do mini families appear on a midi page?
- Because their tables reach into this band. A family that starts at 4 tonnes and runs to 8 serves both classes, and the row that fits your machine is stated in the model table.
- Can a midi machine run a standard class bucket?
- Only where a model row is rated for it. Above that the bucket costs stability at reach and loads the boom, stick and pins harder than the carrier was drawn for.
- Which steel do you build these from?
- Structural parts are Strenx and the wear parts Hardox, the same as the rest of the range. The exact grades per part are stated in the offer for the model you order.
- Can I have one bracket across several tools?
- Yes. Tell us the coupler system once and we build every family in your order to it, so buckets and tools change over on the same machine without an adapter.
