Standard Excavator Attachments
22 families in Standard Excavator Attachments.
- Weight Class
- 12–30 t
The workhorses of the industry. Our 12–30 t attachments are engineered for high-cycle production environments. Featuring Strenx® 700 structural steel and Hardox® 500 Tuf wear parts.
What this category is for
Between 12 and 30 tonnes the work changes character. The machine is on site to move volume, the cycle repeats all day, and an attachment that is merely strong enough starts to cost money in wear parts and downtime. This page lists every Sieruta family with at least one model row rated for a carrier in that band: heavy duty digging buckets, flat top buckets drawn for a quick coupler, rigid and hydraulic grading and ditching buckets, the Dutch and Nordic profiles, the Scandinavian universal bucket, skeleton and rod buckets, the swivelling grading bucket, clamp buckets, rippers and multi rippers, asphalt cutters, the grading beam, rakes and the hydraulic thumb. Structural parts are Strenx, wear parts are Hardox, and the bracket is built to the coupler system on your machine. Send the carrier data with the model code and we confirm the fit and the wear package before production starts.

NON-BUCKET ATTACHMENTS
Attachments other than buckets: grading beams for finishing, single and multi rippers for hard ground, and asphalt cutters for removing pavement.
10–30 tons
Hydraulic Thumb for Excavator
The TH hydraulic thumb sits on the dipper stick and grips against the bucket, so the excavator can pick up and hold rocks, logs, pipes and debris.

AC - excavator asphalt cutters
Asphalt cutter with a 450 mm steel disc for excavators from 12 to 30 t.
On requestView product 11–32 tons
MR - heavy duty excavator multi-ripper
The MR multi-ripper breaks compacted ground with five legs at once rather than one point, so a single pass loosens a wider strip and leaves smaller pieces to load.
On requestView product 14–65 tons
RIP - heavy duty ripper
The RIP is a single shank ripper for excavators, with a protector over the shank.
On requestView product 2.5–30 tons
DuoRIP - double ripper for root extraction

How to choose
- 1
Size the bucket to the cycle, not to the machine plate
On production work the right capacity is the one the carrier fills and lifts every cycle without slowing down. Heavier material means a smaller bucket at the same tonnage, so tell us what you dig and we size it from that rather than from the machine class.
- 2
Choose the wear package before the width
Cutting edges, side protectors, wear bars and the tooth system decide how the bucket ages in abrasive ground. A bucket that runs in sand and gravel needs a different package from one in clay, and retrofitting protection later costs more than ordering it.
- 3
Pick the profile by the finish the job needs
A digging bucket moves volume, a rigid grading bucket cleans a trench and levels, a hydraulic one shapes slopes from one position, a skeleton bucket separates stone from soil. Naming the finish first usually settles the profile in one step.
- 4
Confirm the coupler system and its rating
At this size the coupler carries real load. Give us the system on the machine, for example CW30, CW40, S60, S70 or a pin on fit with its dimensions, and we build the bracket to it so the tool changes over without an adapter in the load path.
- 5
Plan the set, not the single tool
A 20 tonne machine on a site usually needs a digging bucket, a wide grading bucket and one tool such as a ripper or a thumb. Ordering them together lets us build one bracket standard across the set and keeps changeover to a few minutes.
Questions we are asked
- Which carriers count as standard here?
- Machines from 12 to 30 tonnes. A family appears on this page when at least one model row of its table is rated for a carrier inside that band.
- What is the difference between the Dutch and the Nordic profile?
- They are two shapes the market asks for. The Dutch profile is a wide ditching and grading bucket, the Nordic heavy duty profile is drawn for hard digging. Both are listed here with their own model tables.
- Do you build to a drawing we supply?
- Yes, custom work is part of what the shop does. Send the drawing or the dimensions and the carrier data, and we come back with a build proposal and a price.
- Which tooth systems can I have?
- The systems each family supports are stated in its model table, together with the number of teeth per width. Tell us what your other buckets run and we keep the fleet on one system.
- How do I know a bucket suits my coupler?
- The family states the bracket systems it is built for. Give us the coupler on the machine and the model code, and we confirm the pairing in writing before anything is cut.
