The RDBF is a flat-top skeleton bucket on rods for excavators from 10 to 50 t, built on the DBF bucket. Interlocking steel rods sift soil from rocks while you dig, so the material is sorted in the trench.
About this family
RDBF skeleton bucket: interlocking rods separate the material as you dig, for trenching, drainage and pipe bedding.
The RDBF skeleton bucket is for trenching with a large excavator. Interlocking steel rods sift soil and stones apart while you dig. It is used for utility trenches, drainage systems and pipe bedding.
Seven sizes, RDBF-120 to RDBF-500, come in widths from 1000 to 2000 mm with 5 or 6 teeth. Capacity runs from 536 to 2999 l (SAE) and weight from 271 to 1755 kg. Tip radius is 818 mm on the RDBF-120 and 1377 mm on the RDBF-500.
Rods are C45 steel as standard. Hardox rods, special Hardox rods and several rod spacings are options. Teeth are CAT J, BYG Futura or ESCO UltraLok, from J250 to J460. Brackets per size run from S45 to S90, MS10 to MS25, OQ45 to OQ90, M18 and M26, S1 to S3 and SW33 to SW66.
